5th Annual Jared Francom Memorial Ride

WHO: Anyone wishing to ride, attend, or donate to the cause.
WHAT: Memorial motorcycle ride and fundraiser. Money raised will go to the family of fallen UPD Officer Doug Barney.
WHERE: Golden Spike Harley Davidson -5152 S. 1500 W. Riverdale, Utah 84405
WHEN: Saturday May 28th, 2016. Kickstands up at 10:00am.

Ogden – The Ogden Police Benefit’s Association (OPBA) is holding the 5th annual Jared Francom – Whiskey 12 Memorial Ride on May 28th 2016. The OPBA sponsors the annual memorial ride to financially assist family members of fallen police officers.
The proceeds for this year’s event will be donated to Officer Douglas Scott Barney’s family. Officer Barney, from the Unified Police Department, was shot and killed in Holladay January 17th 2016. Officer Barney was a police officer for 18 years. Today, May 27th, would have been his 45th birthday.
Officer Barney left behind his wife Erika and their three children, Matilda 18, Meredith 16, and Jacob 13. Our law enforcement family lost a brother that day, and the OPBA is seeking donations to assist the Barney family.
The Jared Francom Memorial Ride will be held on May 28th 2016 at the Golden Spike Harley Davidson, 5152 S. 1500 West, Riverdale. The ride begins at 10:00 AM and will end at the Lorin Farr Park, 769 Canyon Rd, Ogden at approximately 1:00 PM. The Unified Police Department Motorcycle Unit will lead the ride. Please join us for a barbeque and refreshments at the end of the memorial ride.
